First BBQ of Spring.
Spring is an exciting time of year, the days become warmer and the nights longer. The gardens are exploding with flowers, the grass is green and with first taste of a balmy night, the bbq fires up. One of our favourite ways to cook our lamb is on the bbq. Here’s a recipe from our neighbour, best enjoyed while watching the animals run amuck at dusk.
Spiced lamb skewers.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl
BBQ until cooked
Serve with natural Greek yoghurt and BBQ vegetables
Enjoy on a balmy night
1kg Freshwater Creek Cottages organic diced lamb
1tbs paprika sweet or smoked
1tbs ground coriander
1tbs ground cumin
handful of chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 lime juiced
salt & pepper to taste
