Whilst staying with us you will enjoy our peaceful rural setting, with natural bush land and farming vistas on your doorstep.
The cottages are part of a 50 acre property, with over 20 acres of farming paddocks that hold sheep, cows, horses, goats and pigs. Our Cottages are a great place to stay to take in the beautiful Victorian countryside, whilst still being close to the Ocean.
The farm animals also share their paddocks with the 60 or so kangaroos that graze freely every evening. There is a lovely children’s playground set amongst the shady trees, with loads of picnic areas dotted throughout the property. For the sports enthusiasts, we have a full size tennis court, beach volleyball court, a large grassed area perfect to kick the soccer or football, or have a go at backyard cricket.
Our aim is to provide you with the backyard you always wanted. For grownups and children alike, there is something for everyone!
Freshwater Creek Cottages offers packages to groups of up to 20, for specialised stays, whether it is a weekend away with the girls for some much needed rest & relaxation, or an artistic weekend for like minded friends.
All of our cottages have beautiful rural outlooks and are spaciously appointed amongst the natural gardens, offering screening and privacy. Each cottage has both air conditioning and wood heated combustion fireplaces and include full kitchen, bathroom and meals area. BBQ facilities are provided at all cottages.
Children will love playing in the woods, or on the swings, bikes, trampoline, with the giant chess sets or in the cottage cubby house.
We can arrange massages, reflexology, personal training and many other health & well being services. Artists often come to Freshwater Creek for inspiration in the tranquil surroundings.

Woodcutters Cottage.
Secluded alongside the bushland in the rear paddock is our much loved “Woodcutters Cottage”. Woodcutters Cottage is a romantic getaway cottage for two. The sound of the birds will be your only interruption. The Woodcutters cottage has an open fireplace, small self contained kitchen, spa bath, sauna and a beautiful courtyard for morning breakfasts or evening sundowners.
Nestled into the Australian bush, and with an Olive grove in front, it is the perfect antidote for a busy lifestyle.
This charming cottage has everything to make it the ideal retreat for couples and is located on a secluded part of the property.

The Lodge.
The Lodge is a 3 bedroomed farmhouse located at the front of the property and has it’s own separate driveway. The Lodge has queen beds in 2 of the bedrooms and 2 sets of bunks in the third room sleeping up to 8 guests. The cottage is suitable for two families with a large modern open-plan kitchen, living, bathroom and seperate toilet.
There is a beautiful rural outlook over the farming paddocks, where you’ll see kangaroos grazing freely of an evening.
Once here, you will find yourself spaciously positioned amongst natural gardens, offering you screening and privacy. There is also a private alfresco dining and BBQ for your personal use.
